Thank You!…and a Few Questions
I’ve gone from virtually zero to over 800 subscribers in just over 6 months—all thanks to you!
When I started this “newsletter” at the end of January, I didn’t even have an email list to kick-start me. Since then, I written 1-2 posts every week, and my subscriber list has grown more and more with every post. For this, all I can say is: THANK YOU!!
Time for some feedback from you. Which of these do you enjoy the most and/or are most likely to read and respond to:
my posts on politics (including feminist issues and media criticism)?
my posts on movies and television?
memoir-ish pieces?
reprises of my work on the body, Anne Boleyn, Hillary Clinton?
Also:
My pieces, as you’ve seen, tend to be longer and dive deeper than the chattier newsletters. I’ll never stop doing posts that way. But I also do like to write more “casually.” Would you like me to add a weekly or semi-weekly post that is more of a “round-up” of the week, in which I just “talk” more briefly about a range of topics?
And finally
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT! IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW BORDOLINES IS THRIVING.
AND DO HELP SPREAD THE WORD. SHARE MY POSTS. RECOMMEND TO YOUR FRIENDS ON SOCIAL MEDIA, ETC. LET’S SEE WHAT WE CAN DO BY BORDOLINES FIRST BIRTHDAY (WHICH ALSO HAPPENS TO BE AROUND THE SAME TIME AS MY OWN BIRTHDAY.)
HUGS, HUGS, AND HUGS.
SUSAN.
P.S. And remember to check your spam/junk/“other” mail if you don’t see my posts in your main box.
Thank you for your very welcome comments. I’m now thinking I may do my next post on my favorite and not so favorite movies/tv based on books. From movies that vastly improved on the book (e.g. Jaws, The Godfather) to ones that, imo, did not (e.g. Oppenheimer, Crowded Room, Women Talking). Plus a round-up of the past week. Looking forward to doing it!
Happy to hear you're having such success.
